Bring your bunting to decorate your unit & an outfit to wear at our Garden Party with Cream Tea Make your own plate of food for our Street Party and dress up in RED, WHITE & BLUE. Make a Crown Competition and much more , Use of the Barn for Live Entertainment with Vocalist MARK CETERA , , 60’s Disco Evening , Quiz’s , Big Screen showing the Celebrations plus + Social gatherings. Camping on the flat/level lower sports fields , (Self sufficient essential! No electric hook up or shower block)

Bus stop near by. Shops, Pubs, Restaurants all within a short walk beside the river into the local town of Shoreham-by-Sea. Good walking and cycle paths to the South Downs and near to the Beaches as well. Easy access by bus or car along the coast to Brighton or Worthing.

Use of our Marquees for social gatherings including Live Entertainment, Quiz’s, Bingo, and of course our Annual Great Lancing Bake Off Charity Day on Saturday 13th August. Where you can bake a cake in your unit on site and then enter & donate your cake for our chosen Charity. (not decided for this year at the moment) Saturday 20th- our very popular Charity Plant Sale and table top sale.

ALL WEST SUSSEX DA MEMBERS , PAST & PRESENT ARE INVITED TO JOIN US to celebrate 60 years of your D.A at the Lancing THS on the Friday 26th to visit for the afternoon & evening or to camp.

Please bring along any memorabilia and photos from your time with the Club and reminisce with old friends and new. Roast pork with salad and Glasses of Punch or , tea & coffee, will be provided.

It would be great if this Meet is as well supported as possible by you all, partly as we have had a target number of 20 units+ proposed by the Hiring committee with an additional fee to be payed by the DA if not achieved. But also as a show of support at your D.A AGM where you can hear what has been achieved through out the past year and also have your opportunity to ask questions or put forward new ideas for consideration. you may even like to consider lending a helping hand or get more involved in some way. either way we would be pleased to see you and there will be a Complimentary Buffet Lunch directly afterwards for an informal chat.

There is also an area of hard standing for Motorhomes if the ground is not firm.

We will have socials each evening in the warm hall including:-

Friday- HotXBuns – Music-games- Raffle

Saturday- 11 am West Sussex DA AGM. Followed by a complimentary Buffet Lunch for those attending the AGM Meeting!

8pm – Ladies Night at the ‘Clapham Races’. Fun Horse Racing evening for everyone with the chance to get involved or just spectate. Ladies can brighten up the Race Night by wearing your posh Hats! Bring along your loose change for a little Bet or two. 😉

Sunday- 2pm. Easter Roast Dinner cooked for you! (booked in advance with Pat ) NOW FULLY BOOKED

Decorate your tables with an Easter Theme .

8pm – Fun Quiz Evening

Sunday Meal consisting of 4 x Courses

Starters – Prawn Cocktail or Homemade Vegetable soup

Followed by Roast Turkey with all the vegetable trimmings

Dessert – Lemon Tart & cream or Chocholate Gateaux

followed by Coffee, Mints and Liquors.

And then if?Head Office allow any social events !!We have provisionally booked the Annual Charity Bake Offfor Saturday 14th.All Proceeds will be going to the Chestnut Tree House, a local children’s Charity, and hopefully buy them something from their wish list!Further events may also take place if Allowed !Watch this space for what and when if restrictions are lifted !

We will be running a Library for the Charity and would be very pleased to accept any books that you have read and you would now like to donate to us.Please bring them along with you to the THS.

Also 3 great entertainers and bands are also provisionally booked and waiting to entertain us if allowed .!!
